Posting all three versions of this revived 1921 hit that reached top-20 on the Billboard sales charts. The big one was this infectious instrumental by Del Wood, sometimes nicknamed “Queen Of The Ragtime Pianists.” It sold a million copies and reached top-5 on both the pop and country charts. Following the success of “Down Yonder” Del began appearing on the Grand Ole Opry, becoming its full-time honky-tonk pianist in 1953.
