Description
Here's a taste of some of the new music for my upcoming philosophical, musical, and poetic film, “Spirit Song of the Desert.” I thought I would share a snippet of the score and show what my system looks like when I’m composing like this.
This very short video presents a softer musical passage featuring the strings, harp, flute, a cor Anglais (English Horn), and bassoon. I compose and perform with the top-tier BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro sample library from Spitfire Audio in London. Many of the instruments were recorded at Abbey Road Studio One. The DAW program you see running this is Logic Pro.
I’ll have more updates as it goes. I’m deep into my work right now, but I wanted to pop my head up and present this small sample. I do hope you enjoy it!
My previous film, "A Circle in the Desert," has garnered nearly fifty film festival awards from all around the world, including ten for Best Score or Composer.
