I’m delighted to share a song with you that is very close to my heart.

Thank you to my dear sister Helen who wrote this beautiful song. We were living together in Devon when she received it, and I fell in love with it instantly and have been singing it ever since. We have sung it together in harmony countless times, and a couple of days ago I suddenly felt inspired to capture it as naturally as I could from my little home in Totnes, UK.

This version contains two extra sections that I don't usually share in singing circles and voice mentoring groups, as I usually keep it really simple and repetitive for people to learn easily and sing along. I love these less-sung parts of Helen's stunning song, and it feels so nice to sing it in it’s complete form as she originally wrote it, as most people only know the two main phrases. This song is now sung in singing circles around the world and I feel honoured to be one of the first people to hear it all those years ago!
