Here's my cover of August 10 by the awesome Khruangbin. I know there's plenty of covers of this tune already, but it's been requested and it's one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy the true-to-the-original accuracy of the guitar playing and the backing track.

On the subject of accuracy, with my covers I try to play it as close to the original as humanly possible. I'm mainly putting these covers up for educational purposes - if there's something Mark plays on the original track and you want to see how it's done, I'd like to show you how.

I had great fun making the backing track and I really enjoyed the challenge of recreating as much of the percussion, and atmospheric noises, as possible.

Besides the obvious bass and guitar, we've got egg shaker, tambourine, slide guitar (used with a volume pedal). There's even some singing on here - I enlisted the help of my fiancée to record vocals with me.
