This is the 10th Basse Dance from the Dutch Renaissance composer, Tielman Susato's book of dance tunes, The Danserye.
The Danserye was published in 1551 and contains a collection of 60 easy, yet cleverly written pieces. Mon Desir is the 11th overall piece.
