Phillip (Paul Giamatti ), a reclusive and emotionally closed-off man who is contacted by a tech company called Eulogy. The company asks him to participate in a memorial project for his recently deceased ex-girlfriend, Carol. Using immersive memory technology, Phillip is guided by a virtual assistant (Patsy Ferran) through 3D reconstructions of old photographs, reliving moments from his past with Carol.

As Phillip journeys through these preserved memories, the AI gently challenges his perspective, confronting him with uncomfortable truths about the relationship—including his infidelity and his emotionally distant behavior. Over time, Phillip is forced to reflect honestly on the role he played in their breakup. The emotional climax comes when he discovers that Carol had a daughter after their split—news that catches him completely off guard.

“Eulogy” is a slow-burning, emotionally layered episode about memory, guilt, and missed chances.
