This powerful duet unites two generations of Jamaican musical talent from Clarendon. At 76 years old, Solomon Walters—affectionately known as Brother C—brings decades of vocal experience rooted in church performances, community events, and a life steeped in authenticity as a farmer and mason. His voice carries the wisdom and soul of Jamaica’s cultural legacy.
Joining him is Jegz, (Jeffrey Campbell), a dynamic deejay and songwriter whose musical roots also trace back to the church. Influenced by reggae greats like Sizzla, Beres Hammond, and Peter Tosh, Jegz has collaborated with artists such as Sizzla and Bugle, and has released numerous singles that showcase his lyrical skill and versatility in both reggae and dancehall. Together, Bredda C and Jegz bring a unique blend of experience and energy to the Festival Song Competition with their entry Come Mek Wi Rally —a cross-generational celebration of Jamaican identity, unity, and enduring talent.
