MARIMBAFEST 2021 was Marimbafest Australia's premier event of the year - a 5-day combined solo and ensemble competition with masterclasses and other activities for percussionists to grow and present their best selves on stage. The Marimbafest team worked with COVID restrictiosn for the first time to produce a hybrid event (both in-person and online participants participating simultaneously), the first of its kind in Australia.

MARIMBAFEST 2021 was presented by Marimbafest Australia in conjunction with the UWA Conservatorium of Music.
