Trevor Kowalski is a composer and multi-musician from the foothills of New York’s Adirondack Mountains. He wrote some of his first melodic ideas during the breaks of his piano lessons – at the age of six. He was inspired by his family’s appreciation of classical music, and his love for film and video game soundtracks. Piano lessons were replaced when he joined a rock band in his teen years, but the ambition of writing classical music remained. The yearning for classical piano returned and he came back with even more appreciation and drive. Later on, he studied composition and piano performance at Boston University, with some time at The Royal College of Music in London. Today he lives in Los Angeles with a long resume consisting of work with award-winning filmmakers, international game developers, theatre directors and ensembles. Nature was a big part of Trevor’s childhood, which often shows in his work. Inspiration comes from a deeply rooted sense of nostalgia, connection to nature, and his love of cinematic worlds. The dream-like and bittersweet tunes from Trevor Kowalski makes you lose grip of reality, as the peaceful sounds allow your emotions to flow.
