I was dreaming of a lot of music in a flurry of activity before waking up properly this morning, although this final bit of phrasing was the only part that remained in my mind. Earlier in the dream I was hanging out in a bar with the band Salad. Some local musicians had finished their gig there so Salad decided to just get on stage and do a set with the gear that was set up there. Some young girls were really into it but the bar owners made the band stop and pack up. Later in the dream I was on my way from Hastings to Eastbourne on the bus, in order to cover a shop shift there. As we went through Pevensey (which looked like Collington by Egerton Park) my colleagues were getting off at a stop next to which a second hand record stall had been set up in the park, which I pointed out they should visit. I was thinking I should take a look myself before the bloke packed up but the bus had moved on by then. There was some confusion when I got nearer Eastbourne about if I was doing a shift and was told I was going to do a bit of work in the press office instead. Another part of the dream involved staying over in a flat without a lock on it that we had some things, e.g. art portfolios, to sell although I did think people could just wander in and take them. Various colleagues were on shifts sleeping in the next room, or were just tired and decided to kip there overnight. At another point we were watching a sitcom too and debating the realism of the dialogue.
