"Eulogy" from Tool's "Ænima" album (1996).
I'll be honest, I never knew that the weird and quiet sound was actually a bass. I still think that it's just a bunch of weird noises. Great noises though! So, everything sounds fine and professional until the riff at 2:38 kicks in. Everything suddenly sounds out of tune and I really don't know why. Anyway, it all feels like a big downgrade from 2:38 because my low D string still sounds like garbage for some reason. One thing that's also worth mentioning is the riff at 5:20. It's all fine until you have to play these dissonant notes at 5:48. It just sounds wrong. I'm not going to do any more Tool covers until I fixed the problem with my low E string. Although this one doesn't bad the clankiness of "Jambi", I still feel like a bass shouldn't sound like mine does. Anyway, enjoy.
