Here is a song I created to help my 6th grade students study. I hope you enjoy.

On the underside of a peach I knew
Stood a mold of greenish-blue
I guess it's eating too
But I thought this can't be true
Cause, penicillium have hyphae or branching thread-like feet
To break down the food and absorb it to eat

Most fungi same type
Eukaryotes kind
And they reproduce with spores out they flew
Oh they're heterotrophs and feed in similar ways
But need a warm moist place to grow

Oh classified into groups
Shape, structures, reproduce
It's how fungi's classified
Thread-like fungi, grouped in clumps sac-fungi
Hefty bag, puffball, fungi-club
Spores are moving, fruiting bodies shooting
Using air to move it
Mmm the way producing
Oh there's one more group
It's imperfect for you
Won't sexually reproduce

Oh the structures of thread-like spiral
Hyphae help fungi's survival
And the look of the fungi, how they're arranged
So if they're fuzzy-like
Hyphae are loose not tight and
Mushrooms packed tight and firm to last

Oh fungi spreads wide
Reproduce spores fly
Carried by air through and water float too
Produce many more spores, then ever will grow up
Because some will not make it through
