Directed by Lennie Weinrib, this 1966 beach-party styled film starred Jonathan Daly and Karen Jensen with musical guests, Freddie & The Dreamers, the Knickerbockers, Dobie Gray, the Turtles, the Astronauts and Gary Lewis & The Playboys. (Mr. Weinrib also directed “Beach Ball” and “Wild Wild Winter” – both entries in the beach-party genre.)
Gary is still with us but we lost Lennie Weinrib in 2006, Snuff Garrett in 2015 and Leon Russel in 2016.
