Nataly’s Corner proudly features more music from contemporary and smooth jazz musician Gerald Albright’s newly released album. The single “Boom Boom” is the second track posted from this masterpiece of art in music form titled “G Bonus Version”. As I was putting the video together, it pleased me to include in the write-up that his first single “Taking Control” has been at #1 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz chart for 2 consecutive weeks [Nov 2016]. The song also had reached number #1 on the Smooth Jazz Network Top 20 list. It would be no surprise to me if the Recording Academy seeks out this successful album for a Grammy. The G' album has something for everyone, with some funk in the track “Funkism”…to the funky upbeat sax playing of "Taking Control" & “Boom Boom”…to the mellow grooves of “Read Your Mind”. Gerald also gets a little help from friends on the track “Lovely Day”, which features the robust soulful vocals of Singer Michael McDonald.
