The B side to Glenn Miller's 'I Know Why', 'Chatanooga Choo Choo' was also featured in the film 'Sun Valley Serenade'.
It reached #1 in the US easily beating the A side and sold over a million copies for which Glenn Miller was presented with the first gold disc.
Vocalist Tex Beneke led the band after the war, Glenn Miller having disappeared on his flight from England to France in December 1944.
