This is a traditional Irish jig played on the fiddle - Jim Wards jig. Jim Ward's is a really popular session tune, played in Irish trad sessions all over the world.
Jim Ward , or Jimmy Ward, was a banjo player from County Clare. He was one of the founding members of the important ceili band, the Kilfenora Céilí Band. He is the composer of this jig.
