Description
A Triple Play and a Triple Threat: Ronnie Spector, Bonnie Tyler and Juice Newton all performing their versions of the song "It's a heartache".
In January of 1978, Bonnie Tyler's version of the song entered the Australian charts, where it proceeded to shoot to the top, spending a month there! In Britain, the track reached #4. It would go on to reach the Top 3 in America mid 1978. The song is one of the best selling hits of the 1970's with world sales in excess of 6 million copies!
Juice Newton's version of the hit was recorded in 1977 and was a gold hit in Mexico but only a minor success in America.
Ronnie Spector's more gritty version was recorded in 1978 and was issued as a 7:" single, but did not chart significantly anywhere.
'It's a Heartache" was penned by Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolfe who were also early managers/producers for Bonnie Tyler having discovered her.
I hope all who hear and watch this posting, enjoy the 3 versions of the classic 70's pop/rock/country song.
