Jerry Goldsmith - Explorers Theme [Extended by Gilles Nuytens]

This is an extended version of the theme of the movie « Explorers » (1985) composed by Jerry Goldsmith. This is the original music, extended by myself from the original soundtrack.

Note: This movie is a perfect exemple on how a promising movie can be completely destroyed by stupid decisions from producers and how they can kill creativity from its director, Joe Dante (Gremlins, Innerspace, The Howling...): greedy stupid decisions that turned against them by being a total failure (box office failure, bad editing, plenty of plot holes, etc). The first half of the movie is the best part, after that, it's completely screwed to my opinion. NEVER let businessmen interfere with your creativity! A shame it never got a Director's Cut and probably never will (I heard they "lost" the original footages...).
