Kevin Schnell Solo for If You Only knew written by Larry Rice in 1984 and recorded by Tony Rice. This video is one of a series of short videos i am recording to track my progress as i travel along my never ending journey of attempting to compose more interesting and musical solos while staying true to the melody. It is my desire to use my guitar to mimic the voices of the outstanding country and bluegrass musicians that I have been studying. All of my favorite guitar players have seemingly been able to coax sounds out of their guitars that seem to sound more like that of a human voice than a stringed instrument.
