Description

The third song in my series of covers is "Lily Was Here". The song was written by David A. Stewart in 1989 for the Dutch film De Kassière (which was called "Lily was here" in English)
David A. Stewart (or Dave Stewart as he mostly calls himself) is of course most famous for being one of the two members of Eurythmics together with Annie Lennox.
David wrote the soundtrack for the whole film (with some collaborations) and features the Dutch saxophone player Candy Dulfer.

In this version of the song and video, you will not find Candy Dulfer (or Dave Stewart...). Instead, you will have to put up with me playing the Erae2 by @embodme instead of the saxophone :-)

The video is made using my own footage from my studio. All clips of my fictive Lily and "real-world" footage are AI-generated using Runway.ml
