Today we are going to visit Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is one of the Seven wonders of the world.
Machu Picchu is also referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas”, it is the most familiar icon of the Inca Empire.
It is located in the Machupicchu District within the Urubamba Province, above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco.
We stayed at the Hotel San Agustin in Urubamba city. Then next morning went to Machu Picchu via Inca Rail.
The beautiful Urubamba River flows beside Machu Picchu, cutting through the Cordillera and creating a canyon with a subtropical mountain climate.
Machu Picchu was built by Inca civilization. It is a private city for Incan royalty. This place is the product of modern archaeologists based on physical evidence that we see, such as the buildings, their supposed uses, and their inhabitants and also tombs at the site. There are lots of things to explore in Machu Picchu. So stay with us and lets explore Machu Picchu together.
