I rediscovered this beautiful renaissance love song when watching the TV series Wolf Hall. I knew this tune ever since my childhood and I love this song a lot. It's a love song and was "a big hit" in its day...
The English translation of lyrics below. This is sung in old French of the time, it resembles a bit the French-Canadian language (Québecois), well at least I TRIED :-)
