Stegosaurus Rex - Nowhere To Run (Demo)

This is the first version of Nowhere To Run, rendered on July 30, 2006 at exactly 10:49 PM.

I had begun the song earlier that day, and was trying to learn how to use a vocoder, when I asked my brother to say something funny into the mic. "You're gonna die." From that, I began building a synth patch around the vocals and added my sister to the chorus, and that night, I worked on the rest of the lyrics. The song structure in its entirety (with the final melody) was finished August 2, 2006.

In this demo, you'll notice a couple things different from the final:

1. Different melody for the verses.
2. Only half the verses were finished.
3. Scratchier vocoder, but more melodic.
4. Poor use of the compressor.
