Skateboarding moves in cycles. Some years, baggy pants are all the rage. A few years later, skin tight pants are the go-to style. Just 15 years ago, you’d probably be laughed at for doing a no-comply in a line. Now, it’s a common occurrence in skate videos. This trend also applies to footwear. In the early 2000’s, skaters called for heavily padded shoes that were loaded with features. Then came vulcanized soles and a minimalistic look. The bulky style began diminishing about 10 years ago, but it’s coming back with a vengeance. Well, welcome back to 2001, the Osiris D3 is here! Wo du vor 15 Jahren für einen No Comply in einer Line ausgelacht wurdest, wirst du 2018 gefeiert. Ähnlich verhält es sich beim Schuhwerk. Um die Jahrtausendwende waren Schuhe „buffy“ und konnten gar nicht genug Features haben. Mit dem Einzug von vulkanisierten Sohlen und einem Hang zu Minimalismus verschwand dieser Look vor etwa 10 Jahren, ist aber neuerdings wieder voll im Kommen. Was lag da näher, als die Schuh-Ikone von 2001, den Osiris D3, im Jahre 2018 einem Weartest zu unterziehen. Das Ergebnis ist erstaunlich!
