Here's a song from Canada's legendary folksinger-songwriter, Gordon Lightfoot, for all lonely folks separated, by distance, COVID19, or other circumstance, from those you love

Written in July(!) of1967, and not really a "Christmas song" at all, this song has nevertheless made it's way into many Holiday compilations, and has been covered by folks as diverse as Harry Belafonte (under the title, "The Hands I Love"), Sylvia Tyson (with a group called "Quartette"), bluegrass master Tony Rice (who passed away on Christmas Day this year, may he rest in peace), and Sarah Maclachlan.
