Another really sad day as we lost another legend. Tina Turner was an incredible performer and a totally unique voice. Although she was 83 when she died, we remember her for her unbelievable voice, long legs, incredible stage performances and amazing songs.

I jumped onto the piano this evening and worked out how to play one of her most popular songs, 'The Best' or otherwise known as Simply The Best. It was a song that was written by Mike Chapman and Holly Knight and offered to Paul Young who declined to record it so Bonnie Tyler recorded the song and it didn't do that well until it was released by Tina Turner in 1989. This is in the key of F Major and after the bridge goes to G Major. I've always loved the song, but never played it but I figured today was a good day to play it as a tribute. RIP Tina. Your songs will live on forever. I hope you like this.
