Artist Biography: The Chavez Ravine are a Los Angeles indie rock band with a solid musical pedigree. This is the band L.A. deserves and needs.
The members are Manny Nieto (axe/vocals), Phil Guerrero (drums), and Mando Lopez (bass).
Mando Lopez (bass) is currently Morrissey’s bassist. He has played with The Breeders and FEAR. Manny Nieto (vocalist/guitarist of The Chavez Ravine) has produced and mixed for bands such as The Breeders, HEALTH, and Omar Rodriquez Lopez. He was also in the noise rock band Distortion Felix with drummer Phil Guerrero, whose first album was recorded by Steve Albini.
As the band would say (and have said), they are HEAVY AS f*ck.
