The Mountain Climber is a conditioning exercise intended to strengthen the core muscles, increase the heart rate, and improve mobility and flexibility.
It has many variations:
🔼 The top video:
Aims to target the abdominal muscles primarily and does not require a large range of motion
🔽 The bottom video:
This variation requires much more flexibility in the hip, lower back, and shoulders.
Mobility is one of this exercise's purposes, therefore we will not perform it too fast.
