Who doesn't love a good civil war song? Tammy Rogers wrote this one about the battle of Stones River, which took place over New Years Eve 1862-63. Tens of thousands of troops were killed or incapacitated over three days, and you can lay eyes on that battlefield along highway 41 in middle Tennessee (it is a beautiful national park now). We thank EACH AND EVERY war veteran for their service.
