I toured Juba, the capital of South Sudan, with a local guide, visiting some of the city’s key sites — all while filming from inside a car. Even then, I faced serious challenges. At one point, a policewoman stopped and harassed us just for holding a camera. South Sudan may be the world’s newest country, but it’s also one of the toughest places to document. 🇸🇸
