Andrés de Sola (1634 -1696), organiste et compositeur espagnol du XVIIème siècle. Il a étudié la musique avec son oncle Melchor Ximénez, organiste à l'église de Santa María deTudela. En 1672, il est nommé premier organiste de la Cathédrale de Saragosse (la Seo). Il fut le maître de plusieurs organistes célèbres du XVIIIème siècle, dont Jerónimo Latorre, Sebastián Durón, Pedro Borobia, Joaquín Redonet et Miguel Soriano.

Tiento de Cuarto Tono sobre un tiento de falsas de Aguilera de Heredia :
Le Tiento de Cuarto Tono est basé sur un œuvre d’ Aguilera de Heredia (1561-1627), un des plus important compositeur espagnol de musique de clavier de la toute fin du XVIème siècle.
Le Tiento de Falsas est un genre joué pendant l’élévation, similaire à la Durezze e Ligature italienne avec ses dissonances et ses suspensions. Le début du tiento d’Andrés de Sola suit le modèle de Sebastian Aguillera et s’en libère dans une section centrale qui contient de nombreuses diminutions avec des passages rapides en doubles croches dans les aigus sur des accords statiques dans les trois autres parties.

Carlos González Martínez (Saragosse, 1995) est musicien et chercheur spécialisé dans la musique ancienne. Outre l’orgue, le clavecin, il joue du cors baroque. Organiste titulaire de l’orgue baroque de San Pablo de Saragosse (buffet de 1483), il a enregistré en 2024 sur cet instrument son premier CD dédié à « L’Orgue baroque en Aragon ». (Hortus 238).

He was the teacher of several famous organists of the 18th century, including Jerónimo Latorre, Sebastián Durón, Pedro Borobia, Joaquín Redonet and Miguel Soriano.

The Tiento de Cuarto Tono is based on a work by Aguilera de Heredia (1561-1627), one of the most important Spanish composers of keyboard music of the very end of the 16th century.
The Tiento de Falsas is a genre played during the elevation, similar to the Italian Durezze e Ligature with its dissonances and suspensions. The beginning of Andrés de Sola's tiento follows the model of Sebastian Aguillera and breaks free from it in a central section that contains many diminutions with quaver figures in the treble over static chords in the other three parts.

Carlos González Martínez (Zaragoza, 1995) is a musician and researcher specializing in early music. In addition to the organ and harpsichord, he plays the baroque horn. Organist of the baroque organ of San Pablo in Zaragoza (1483 case), he recorded in 2024 on this instrument his first CD dedicated to "The Baroque Organ in Aragon". (Hortus 238).
