Astrid’s debut album entitled Astrid – Cinta Itu was released in 2005, and received positive feedback from public. But her major success was in 2007 when she released her sophomore album called Jadikan Aku Yang Kedua. Its single which had same name as the album title was such a powerful song that remained on the radio charts for countless consecutive weeks, made it to be the top-downloaded song for a year. The song without a doubt has soared Astrid’s name to the next and higher level. She received many awards from her achievement with this song.

In 2010, she released her third album named Lihat Aku Sekarang. The album spawns hit singles Tentang Rasa ("About Love") and Lihat Aku Sekarang ("Look At Me Now"), powerful ballads which soon become top airplay across the country. Astrid’s fame is not only in her home country but also has soared to neighbor countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. This album has resulted 10 Platinum Award!

Saranghapnida is a theme song of a TV series entitled Sarangae , aired by an Indonesian terrestrial TV INDOSIAR. This TV Series is a romantic drama that shows a collaboration between Indonesian and Korean actors and actress. The song features a duet between Tim (who also acts as a main role in Sarangae) and Astrid. This ballad song has matched perfectly between Tim’s smooth voice and Astrid’s sweet and sultry voice. It is indeed a powerful ballad which chants music lovers both in Indonesia and Korea. Released in April 2012, the single now has been number one on major radio charts across Indonesia.
