"Garaşsyz, Bitarap Türkmenistanyň Döwlet" is the national anthem of Turkmenistan, composed by Weli Muhadow and written by Saparmurat Nyyazow in 1996. The song was adopted in 1996 after independence from the Soviet Union, then had slight lyrical changes in 2008.
